My Craft Booth Idea

Have you ever had a feeling you need to do something? That you need to take that next step? I have felt like I need to venture into the craft show/booth business (in addition to my Etsy shop - https://www.etsy.com/shop/ElegantFlorals20) for several months now. 

 I don't have a booth or show on the calendar now. I'm still in the pray about it and hope to make the right choices stage. I'm torn between trying to get in some sort of seasonal show for a weekend or trying my hand at a local store that has booths for rent (monthly). 

 My sister wants to be involved and has artwork for sale. I'm more of a floral decor person, but plan to expand to more decor items (painted small furniture items, word signs, etc.). Now we just need DIVINE guidance about what we need to do and get busy making products. 

 I'm praying that the Lord will open doors that need to be open and close any doors that are not for us. I'm praying for guidance in this endeavor and that He will fill us with knowledge and discernment about the business angle. I'm praying for wisdom in the situation so that we don't get in over our heads. 

 It will be a learning experience if nothing else. We have never done anything like this, but it has always been appealing to me. I just need confidence, merchandise, and lots of direction from the Lord.

Being Kind May Improve Your Day

Kindness. It can make a big difference in your experiences in life. If someone shows you kindness, it may make a bad situation better or a good situation even better. Besides, it is just a good thing - ALWAYS. I told you a few posts back about the stranger that made our day better. Because he had a kind heart and was willing to help, we weren't stranded at the Home Depot for very long at all. It very easily could have been all day. That kindness made a bad situation better...definitely! Kay, at the post office where I ship the packages for my Etsy store, goes out of her way to try to help me. I, therefore, go out of my way a lot of days to go to HER post office. I make sure I fill out the survey and give her an excellent rating (she says it helps her - I asked). Answers to Prayers

You know, sometimes in life it is easy to get discouraged. It's easy to let burdens weigh you down. You feel like God is not listening when you pray. I'm here to tell you that our God is still on His throne and He is still answering prayers if you have a relationship with Him. I heard from someone this morning that testified to that fact. Prayer works!  This started me thinking about the different types of answers we get from God through prayer. There may be others or more ways to describe these, but here is a quick overview anyway.
