Tomorrow is Another Day...Maybe a BETTER Day?
I've been feeling a little out of sorts lately. I don't know if it's the weather...we've been in a drought for SO long and it has been unseasonably hot until today...or if it is all of this election stuff. I do know that after tonight, we will have a new president for the next 4 years. Also, there is a slight chance of rain today, even though they believe it will dissipate before it makes it to us. It does make me hopeful that we are STARTING to come out of the looong dry spell.
All of this gives me hope, not that I've been without hope, but it boost my hope that things are looking up. I'm praying for our country. I know who I want to win, but it is in God's hands now. All I can do is wait and see...possibly with a big bowl of popcorn, and HOPE that my PERSON wins and wins big. Not that either candidate is spectacular, but I am trusting that the people AROUND this person will have influence on he or she enough to be good for the country.
As for the weather, of course there is nothing I can do about that, but I can hope that things change soon. I don't want my parents' well (country living at its best) to run dry among other issue that are drought related.
So for now, I will keep praying, trusting, and waiting. The Bible tells us repeatedly to do all three!

"We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our
shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May
your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you."
Psalm 33:20-22
