Our Amazing God at Work

It's amazing to see God at work. It is especially amazing when it involves a situation for which you have been praying. The situation was getting desperate and there were several of us very concerned. We were all seeking help from the Lord.

It seems to have taken a turn for the better tonight. We are believing that things will be different now. We are praying there will be real forgiveness and starting over. Only God can make this happen, but He seems to be changing hearts. 

This is a purely selfish post, I know. I started this blog as a way to be a blessing to others. Well, tonight this seems only about me. I'm asking...if you are a praying person, please lift up this situation in prayer. 

"In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried 
out to my God; He heard 
my voice from His temple, and my cry came 
before Him, even to His ears."

Some days there is drama. You don't have to look for it, it finds you. Sometimes, you try to do what you think is the right thing, only to find out you have upset someone without meaning to do so.  How do you handle these situations? Being Kind May Improve Your Day

Kindness. It can make a big difference in your experiences in life. If someone shows you kindness, it may make a bad situation better or a good situation even better. Besides, it is just a good thing - ALWAYS. I told you a few posts back about the stranger that made our day better. Because he had a kind heart and was willing to help, we weren't stranded at the Home Depot for very long at all. It very easily could have been all day. That kindness made a bad situation better...definitely! Kay, at the post office where I ship the packages for my Etsy store, goes out of her way to try to help me. I, therefore, go out of my way a lot of days to go to HER post office. I make sure I fill out the survey and give her an excellent rating (she says it helps her - I asked). Answers to Prayers

You know, sometimes in life it is easy to get discouraged. It's easy to let burdens weigh you down. You feel like God is not listening when you pray. I'm here to tell you that our God is still on His throne and He is still answering prayers if you have a relationship with Him. I heard from someone this morning that testified to that fact. Prayer works!  This started me thinking about the different types of answers we get from God through prayer. There may be others or more ways to describe these, but here is a quick overview anyway.
