My God is Faithful!

The Lord is faithful! He has done a great work in a very bad situation. It wasn't a life-threatening situation other than the toll stress has on your life, but it was bad nonetheless.

 If you read my last blog, you know that I was asking for prayers. Well, I'm here to tell you prayer works. We witnessed something we never thought we would see. There has been a change that could only come through God working in the life of this person. 

 We are believing that things will continue to improve and strained relationships will be completely mended. We know that through God's help, that can be achieved. 
"The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.
Therefore my heart rejoices,
and I praise Him with my song."
Psalm28:7

Being Kind May Improve Your Day

Kindness. It can make a big difference in your experiences in life. If someone shows you kindness, it may make a bad situation better or a good situation even better. Besides, it is just a good thing - ALWAYS. I told you a few posts back about the stranger that made our day better. Because he had a kind heart and was willing to help, we weren't stranded at the Home Depot for very long at all. It very easily could have been all day. That kindness made a bad situation better...definitely! Kay, at the post office where I ship the packages for my Etsy store, goes out of her way to try to help me. I, therefore, go out of my way a lot of days to go to HER post office. I make sure I fill out the survey and give her an excellent rating (she says it helps her - I asked). Answers to Prayers

You know, sometimes in life it is easy to get discouraged. It's easy to let burdens weigh you down. You feel like God is not listening when you pray. I'm here to tell you that our God is still on His throne and He is still answering prayers if you have a relationship with Him. I heard from someone this morning that testified to that fact. Prayer works!  This started me thinking about the different types of answers we get from God through prayer. There may be others or more ways to describe these, but here is a quick overview anyway.
