Taking Some Me Time

I wish I could have more days like this. I've spent the day doing just what I want to do. My husband was here most of the day doing what he enjoyed, too. It has been great!

I've worked on products for my Etsy store. I spent a portion of the afternoon taking pictures and posting the items. I'm in my happy place when I have days like this.

Some days you need to take time for you. I used to feel guilty, but not any longer. I think we have to take a little time for ourselves for our mental wellness. We spend so much time running here and there or being pulled in 10 different directions. You just need to regroup some times.

So, when you have a chance for a "me day," do it and ENJOY!

Being Kind May Improve Your Day

Kindness. It can make a big difference in your experiences in life. If someone shows you kindness, it may make a bad situation better or a good situation even better. Besides, it is just a good thing - ALWAYS. I told you a few posts back about the stranger that made our day better. Because he had a kind heart and was willing to help, we weren't stranded at the Home Depot for very long at all. It very easily could have been all day. That kindness made a bad situation better...definitely! Kay, at the post office where I ship the packages for my Etsy store, goes out of her way to try to help me. I, therefore, go out of my way a lot of days to go to HER post office. I make sure I fill out the survey and give her an excellent rating (she says it helps her - I asked). Answers to Prayers

You know, sometimes in life it is easy to get discouraged. It's easy to let burdens weigh you down. You feel like God is not listening when you pray. I'm here to tell you that our God is still on His throne and He is still answering prayers if you have a relationship with Him. I heard from someone this morning that testified to that fact.
